The Minister of Culture Leonid Novokhatko on the 10th of September 2013 visited Ankara within the Days of Ukrainian culture in Turkish Republic. For the first time organized at the state level the Days of culture opened with Gala concert of Virsky National Folk Dance Ensamble in the National Opera and Ballet theatre of Ankara. During his visit the Ministry of culture of Ukraine Leonid Novokhatko met the Ministry of culture and tourism of Turkish Republic Ömer Çelik and they discussed the points of further development of the bilateral cultural relations between Ukraine and Turkey and the agreements have been reached about the cooperation in the sphere of the protection of cultural heritage. Besides that within the Days of culture f Ukraine in Turkey there was the opening of the culturologic project “Amber Mosaics” and the exhibition of art holograms of Scythian gold.
